ADELE’s POV
When I woke up in the morning and saw Amelia next to me I was more than shocked, because where is my husband? Then I remembered that I was not even home. I checked my phone and there were 10 missed calls from him already.
“Oh, my God! It is just 9 am, baby”
I whispered to myself, called him back but he didn't answer. I called him about 6 times but there was no response from him.
I dropped my phone and I decided to sleep a bit again.
“Adele.. Hey.. Wake up.. Mum wants you downstairs”
I could literally hear Brian’s voice in my head.
“Why? Let me sleep.. Please”
“Is this how you sleep in your husband’s house? It is wrong”
My mother barged into the room and said softly.
