Chapter two

It was very late in the night and Stephanie have start preparing dinner as she was through with Ivanita's feeding and putting her to sleep, she was determined to endure what ever Jason do to her and win over his love back though she doesn't know what she did to him that made him change so much towards her in such a way she never expected.

She prepared Jason favorite food which is fried rice, salad and fried chicken and decide to ask for his forgiveness even though she was not at fault in any way. After going through the stress and finish cooking, she glance at the time and it was past nine and she prayed and hoped silently that Jason comes home so her efforts won't be wasted again.

Stephanie stopped her thinking when she heard the front door opens and she quickly stand up from where she was sitting at the dinner area as he comes to view.

"Welcome hubby, how was your day and how is work", Stephanie said smiling even though she was hurting inside at how he was late again, all she just want was her old Jason back and she hoped she will have him back and they can just go back to how they were before

Jason didn't reply her and walk towards the stairs that led to their bedroom.

"I cooked dinner Jason, it's your favorite, should I serve it for you", Stephanie asked not minding how she was being ignored

"Don't you have any sense, can't you see I'm tired huh", Jason shouted angrily

"I.. I'm sorry okay, I just want to tell you I cooked so you can at least eat before going to sleep", Stephanie said gently still smiling

"Just let me be", Jason said and walk to their bedroom

Stephanie sit down as she start crying silently very annoyed at how she was being treated by the man she loved. After calming herself down, she proceed to pack the food and throw them out as usual but she heard footsteps and she could tell it was Jason.

"Maybe he is coming to eat", Stephanie thought and quickly wipe her tears as Jason get to where she was and he sat at the dinning area, Stephanie immediately start dishing out the food smiling

"At least he will eat the food I cooked for the first time in months", Stephanie thought and placed the food in Jason's front and he start eating the food

Stephanie dish out hers too and she also start eating.

"Did you cook this food or order it", Jason ask as he stopped eating

"You know I hate ordering food outside, I prefer cooking myself", Stephanie answered looking at Jason

"Can't you just f*****g ask a simple question, did you order it or not", Jason said angrily

"I'm sorry, I cooked it myself", Stephanie replied "Do you want more, should I dish more for you"

"Why would I want more when it taste like s**t", Jason said pushing the plate of food out of his front.

"Taste like s**t?This isn't the first time you are eating my food and I'm also eating the same food and it taste delicious, Jason nothing is wrong with this food please", Stephanie said as her mood start changing

"Delicious my foot, you are just so useless", Jason shouted

"Useless?, Did you just f*****g say I am useless", Stephanie shouted as she lost her cool " What is wrong with you Jason, I spent hours cooking for you and you said I am useless, what the f**k did you want huh, you are sucking the life out of me"

"What I want?", Jason said smiling "I want a divorce, let's divorce Stephanie", he said blankly

"D...d...di.....div... Divorce", Stephanie shouted

"Yes, I hate living with you,you disgust me", Jason said angrily

"Di... Disgust you? You know what I am sorry okay, my food taste like s**t, I accept and will order you food now. Don't joke with saying you want divorce okay , I am f*****g sorry okay", Stephanie said gently ignoring what Jason said to her.

"Joke? Stephanie I am f*****g serious, we are divorcing", Jason shouted

"Is it because of last night, I'm sorry I won't question you or anything okay, you can work for two weeks even one month okay", Stephanie said not wanting to believe what she is hearing

"Get a f*****g grip on yourself, I . Want. A . Divorce", Jason said and soon as he finished the statement, Stephanie slapped him so hard."What the f**k"

"Divorce, are you insane, huh,you must be joking, I quit everything to be with you, give up my dreams, give up on my career just to be with you and you f*****g want a divorce, you must be joking right, just tell me you are joking", Stephanie shouted as tears slip out of her eyes.

"You slapped me!", Jason said angrily

"I'm sorry for that okay I was just confused, you are joking right", Stephanie said holding his hand

"Why would I joke, huh, I don't love you, I don't want this marriage anymore, you are not good enough for me, just let me be and get the f**k out of my house", Jason shouted

"STOP THAT JASON, STOP" , Stephanie shouted pushing him "You don't love me? You are a liar because you do love me, You don't want this marriage? We are together for life okay, And what I'm not good enough, you must be joking right. Do you know how much I have sacrifice for you, all the things I did just to please you and you said I am not good enough for you, You are f*****g Joking"

"Stop behaving like a psychopath and sign the divorce papers in the bedroom", Jason said going towards the front door

"You brought divorce papers?", Stephanie said rushing to his front "You can't do this to me", She shouted "No, after four f*****g years together, you are now realizing you don't love me?", She shouted letting her emotions took over her

"It's over", Jason said blankly and went out of the house as Stephanie was shattered and falls to the floor crying.
