CHAPTER 6 Rooster frowns out the front windshield. “Are you sure this is the place?” I’m not sure why he’d be shocked—did he expect Blade to be living large? The guy wore the same pair of boots the entire time we were together, the only footwear he owned. Not even a back-up pair, because he was cheap, and because they were “lucky”… whatever that means.
