Chapter 5Rowan woke to heat and the gentle throb of breath ruffling across his fur, but he recognized the origins without having to open his eyes. Alec. Here in his room, curled up on the edge of his cushion, as lost in the throes of sleep as he had been moments ago. From the smells filtering under the door, it was near suppertime, prompting a low gurgle in his stomach. He didn’t want to rise, let alone change back. His body had gone molten from the long nap, and the added bonus of Alec’s presence lent an air of intimacy to his bedroom it had never really possessed before.
