“What the hell are you doing here?” I ask, as I clench my heart, which is beating heavy.
How dare he come back home and scare me?
Especially after asking me to mind my business. I should kick him out this is my place I own it, but right being my legal husband he has now, control over my assets.
Stupid me.
“I am making sure you aren't killed by some psychopath” He hits back sarcastically, as he takes a step forward, and he turns on the lights.
I flinch at the Sudden brightness that fills the room
“They are far better than you, Theodore” I counterattack, not holding back. I mean, why should I?
But why the hell does he look mad, like somehow it is all my fault?
