Passion of love

He ran down the streets in fear. Everytime his eyes caught back to check if he was been followed or not.  His legs felt tired of the sprint,but his mind wasn't ready.  Completely consumed with fear, he found himself running in an empty highway with no sign of life. His breath heavier with the work , his eyes scanned for some place to hide.  But fate had it own plans! Soon,he heard the screeching of tires behind him. He looked back to find 5-6 posh cars blocking the road behind. The sound of the doors opening revealed many well built men in black suits and dark shades.  But they weren't what he feared.  Soon, a black mercedes stopped in front of the tracks and a few men moved out of it. One of them opened the backdoor to reveal the devil himself! Gandhari shivered at the sight of the six feet tall, well built man in three piece satin suit , as dark as his soul step out of the car in his usual demeanor. His eyes were hidden under the shades, making him appear no less than a cold heart. His fingers skimmed through his suit jacket, and effortlessly pulled out his cigrette in one hand. He swiftly lighted his cigar with the lighter he carried and blew out the smoke , spreading his cruel intentions in thin air. Gandhari:P-please forgive me! I didn't mean t-to betray you!I would've given you the money,b-but the circumstances weren't favourable.  The tall man took a few puffs of his cigrette and flicked it out of his fingers into the side of the road. He looked at the former,who was trembling in fear of the consequences he's ought to pay after he ran away with his money.  Gandhari: Please!I beg you,Billa! Please forgive me! He started weeping. Billa: It's ok!I leave you! Gandhari was shocked for a minute to hear such a thing from the devil in disguise. But he was too traumatized to believe anything else. Gandhari: T-thank you,Billa! I promise to give it to you back. Billa walked towards him, placing his left arm in his trouser pocket. His eyes concerned no readable expressions in particular, that somewhere confused Gandhari. But his mind was too clouded to think through it.  Gandhari : Y-you are very generous, Billa! T-thank you for sparing my life! Trust me, I'll give the money back to you.  Billa didn't care for any further interaction and signalled him to move ahead.  Gandhari stood up from his grounds and paying his last gratitude to Billa, started to walk away. But he wouldn't have cared to hear the rest, what Billa spoke after he had started walking away.  Billa : Whoever breaks the rule must be sent sent away from this world!  A sound of gun shot echoed through the air, scaring the birds who rushed for their plight.  Police was too late to arrive and only received the deadbody of Gandhari lying in a pool of blood.  The last words that Billa had spoken to Gandhari who walked unnoticed of his voice, was lingering somewhere in the woods, draped under the evening darkness.  **************************** Vikram : Ma'am, do you need anything?  The woman looked at her driver with a nervous expression.  Maya : Umm... No. I jus-umm..  Vikram noticed her hesitation and focused back to the road.  He was surely convinced that she was scared. And there was no reason for not to. Whom she was going to encounter today was no less than his ideas of the worst.  Maya: H-how much time would it take?  Vikram : Just 15 minutes.  Maya's pale face had just lost all it's colors. How much she wished to get somehow crashed by a car or truck at this moment. Anything that would stop her from meeting what she heard was every human's worst nightmare.  Underworld Mafia Emperor Billa.  Kolalampur, Malaysia...  A tall man paced through the brightly lit corridors and knocked at the huge door. After getting his permission, he entered the room.  Ranjith: Billa! She has arrived.. Its time.  The man standing at the balcony, didn't receive the former's words with any such interest . His hands gripped the railing, while his shaded eyes, devoid of any warmth, stared at the vast island which he owned. When he came to woman , he got quite intrested in his subjects. But this moment, he had paid no such attention towards it.  A knock was heard at the door and Ranjith received it with utmost respect.  Ranjith : Its Maya!  Billa carelessly arched his head at the side and witnessed a tall woman standing behind Ranjith. She looked pale and fragile, but there was a warmth emanating from her bright chocolate eyes. She wore a pink saree(Indian Cultural dress for women) that had its colors almost reach the dead age and the only embellishment she carried was a minute bindi(circular dot that Indian woman wear) between her brows.    She received a warm welcome from Ranjith, but she couldn't say the same for the tall man in a black suit and dark shades, who scrutinized her.  Old memories rushed through Billa's mind like a tornado.  The rooftop. The thunderstorm and her. What she said to him.  You're a monster!  Ranjith broke Bill's thoughts, bringing him back to reality.  Ranjith :I hope you're journey from India wasn't very tiring!  Maya nodded at Ranjith, keeping her smile intact.  Ranjith : Ok.So I will leave you two with each other. Maya! If you need anything then do tell me. And Billa we need to talk about tomorrow's deal.. Give me the plan details in the evening!!  Billa: Hmmmm...  Ranjith bowed his head in respect and left the room leaving Maya in an uncomfortable disposition.  She was too scared to mumble a word. There was something extremely precarious about his looks. The way he observed her wasn't very assuring of his good interests. And the power he radiated was suppressing her vocals.  Billa:So you are Maya?  His eyes didn't twitch an inch from her.  Maya:Y...yy..yesss...I heard a lot about you... I was very excited to meet...  Before she could continue Billa interrupted her.  Billa: Look women!!If you are here to stay with me then you must remember one thing! Dont expect any love or care from Billa!! And never try to get involved in my life in any way... Or it might COST YOU!!  ******* 'Don't expect any love or care from Billa'... The words echoed in her mind. Everytime she paced around the room in impatience, his words haunted her back.  It wasn't an unexpected outcome. She was used to such kind of rejection. The thing she most craved for was always distant from her. But she still hoped.  Hoped to be loved someday.   She ambled towards the small bathroom to wash off herself from the tired day. The moment she had seen the room, she knew that she was being treated like a complete garbage. Again not something very unexpected!  She opened the tap and the shower had bursted out on her body in million droplets. They stinged on the portions that were carved by her ill fate and misery. Bruises and whip lashes. Some fresh red, reciting the events of a few days back. While other turned out to be dry as brown.  While the water rained on her body, she skimmed her fingers over the marks. How much they had hurt was incomparable to the marks that had long been engraved in her heart.  She turned towards the bathroom mirror, her whole appearance reflecting on her afflictions and struggles.   The emotions playing in her mind were soon replaced by the recent occurrences.  His appearance was exactly how she imagined. As a child, when she had set her eyes upon him for the first time, she had felt a strange attraction towards him. And the more distant he was, the more it tend to grow stronger. But she wasn't very enlightened with humanly attractions in those days.  She would've wished to stay that way. But it all changed and the day she again heard of him in the news channels. She had seen his appearance there and she couldn't really do much, except get entrapped into the looks of the charming, tall man with a such a muscular build.  He's your husband!  She was been told this from the beginning of the day they both were tied up with the strings of marriage. Even though she felt elated, she couldn't tell the same about him. His face had appeared anything but happy.  She wasn't allowed to stay with him also. Because they were children.  But now, when he was settled, she was given back to him. Better to say, sold to him at a good price that her family paid.  And the moment she saw him in those black shades and suit, she knew that it was never a mere Infatuation. It was love!  She was, from the beginning of their marriage, in love with the underworld emperor Billa!  ******* Ranjith : Yeah.. sure.. we will be there in half an hour!! He hanged up the phone Ranjith : Billa!.. We will leave now... are you coming for the deal??  Billa: Hmmm... Make the necessary arrangements!! Call Vikram and tell him to meet us there!  Ranjith : Ok Billa!!  Billa and his gang were standing in a white coloured room loaded with weapons,drugs and some of his other possessions...  Ranjith(over phone) :Vikram.. Yeah!... Come fast!!  Billa : Did you inform them the location and timing??  Ranjith : Yes Billa...  Now.. Mark!!... Please come with me..  Open the brief case....  Mark.. One of Billa's gang members went near Ranjith and opened the shiny briefcase, while Ranjith started loading the drug packets...  Billa watched them from a distance.. his eyes hidden under his dark shades and wearing his formal attire... face showing no expression... except a tinge of anger that he always carried with him very well..  He checked the briefcase before closing it...   They were going to leave when suddenly Billa 's gaze fell on Maya...  She was standing at the staircase watching them.  She felt his eyes on her...  immediately she looked at the floor.. his stare on her made her shiver with fear!!  Ranjith: Maya!.. Why are you here so early??... Do you need anything??  Maya : Uhh.. I...uhhh Ranjith : What is it, Maya??  Maya hesitated for a moment and then she decided to speak  Maya: I.. Wasss... j.. just....  Ranjith!!  An angry voice interrupted her words and she knew whose it was Billa: Aren't we supposed to leave now??... You know I hate tardiness!!  Ranjith (worried) : Sure Billa!!.... Mark!!  He addressed Mark to move towards the door taking the briefcase with him.  Ranjith : Take rest Maya!!... Its only 6a.m. in the morning  Saying this he walked pass Billa towards the door.  Maya saw Billa reaching the door completely ignoring her...  They all left...  Maya(in her mind) : Phew!!.. Oh God!!!... He looked so handsome in his black suit and dark shades... Just one glance of him took my breath away.. I could barely breath... Maya.. you are no match to his beauty ... so dont try... he deserves much better than you!!... he deserves a queen.. not a servant like you While she was lost in her thoughts she sensed someone 's gaze on her... She looked sideways to see a lady standing downstairs ... She looked glamorous wearing a tight-fitting short silver dress that showed her cleveage very well...   Lisa: Maya....right?? Maya: Yeah...  She said smiling  Lisa: Sooooo... you are the village girl from India...  She checked Maya from top to bottom with her malicious eyes. Maya suddenly felt uncomfortable under her gaze.  Lisa: Huhhh..... Sad!!  Maya: Uhh.. S.. Sorry??  Lisa: So you think you can win Billa..??  Maya: I.. I.. I.. dont understand.. what are you talking about!!  Lisa gave a smirk...  Lisa : I don't get it!!......... Why did Billa choose a girl like you to be his wife?? I know that he wouldn't have selected you even if you were the last person on earth!!!  It hurted Maya... She felt slapped by Lisa 's word.  Maya: I....  Lisa : Anyways!! .... Remember one thing... BILLA IS MINE!!.. ONLY MINE!! So don't even think about getting close to him or I will make sure that HE THROWS YOU OUT OF THIS PLACE OR IF POSSIBLE THEN OUT OF THIS WORLD!!  Saying these words she left the room  Maya was too shocked to move. She standed their idly trying to understand what happened!!  Maya in her room...  Flashback 'Maya!!.. you are such a useless piece of shitt!!' said her father  'I am sorry Baba... please forgive me' she pleaded to her father who was boiling with anger.  Then for just a second she felt a tight slap on her face 'FORGIVE YOU!!... No wayyy... You will be punished for what you did today' with this he holded little Maya's hair and dragged her towards the storeroom.  Storeroom  'Noooo!! No Baba!! Please Nooo!!' she screamed from the storeroom.... she kept screaming..... she cried... 'NOOO!! PLEASE!! I BEG OF YOU.. PLEASE!!'  Half an hour later.....  The screams stopped  'IT' S A WARNING... Don't ever try to cross your limits' said her father leaving the store room.  Maya laid there... on the floor.. tears flooding her eyes and soft cheeks.  Flashback Off She touched her arms for protection... Her memories haunted her like ghosts!!  Maya 's Pov Why?? Why God? Why always me?? Why does everyone hate me so much?... Ami I some kind of beast.... I don't expect them to love me.. But they can be a little polite atleast Or maybe that's too much to ask for... Wait!!.... .. How can I forget that I am just a little piece of shit.. a burden.. a curse... I have no right to ask for any love!!  That girl wants to throw me out or kill me.. .. my husband doesn't want me... Wowww Maya!! you really are quite lucky.... now death is what is left of you to achieve!! ******** It was dark...  Maya: Where am I??  She heard some footsteps behind her.  Suddenly two hands grabbed her waist from behind....  Maya(scared) : Hey!!.. Who are you?? What are you doing??  Sssshhhhh!! Its me baby!! Your Billa!! he spoke in a sexy husky tone....  Maya shivered under his touch... she could feel her heart beat rising Maya: B.. B.. b.. tt.. why you... you.. said... dont...  She stammered.. she couldn't speak a single word to him properly but then she felt his face on her hair... he pinched her skin softly and then started moving his fingers on her navel giving her goosebumps...  Maya: Oh God!!... I love you Maya... I love you so much!!  He planted soft kisses on her neck... You taste so good baby!!... he spoke with his sexy tone Maya felt her body moving at his sweet torture.... she was losing control...   Maya: I love you!!.. I will always!!  Then she suddenly heard some laughter from a distance.. She moved back to find no one was there!!  Maya: Billa!!... Billa!.. Where are you??  She heard the sounds of laughter coming near her...  Maya : Who is it?? Please stopppp!!  Billa!!... Where are you??  Mayaaaaaa!!!! She heard her name spoken by a voice she was very familiar with.. It wasn't Billa.. It was her FATHER!  Maya: Baba!!... Are you there???  Maya!! Come here!! Come to your father.... Come here!!  Maya: Noooo... no I won't... Leave me alone!!  The voice changed into an angry tone.  Maya!! Its my order!! Come here.. Or I will....  Maya: Please leave me alone!! Saying this she started running.. she couldn't see the shadow of a thing.. it was so dark  YOU CAN'T ESCAPE!! the voice spoke behind her....  Maya could feel herself crying... Billa! Billa! Where are you??  BILLA!!!  She woke up with a thud... IT WAS A DREAM!! She looked at the alarm clock... showed 6a.m. in the morning!!  Maya 's Pov What a dream!!It took the life out of me... Atleast the first part did!!.. God!! I am still shivering Oh Billa!!.. My hubby touched me for the first time in my dream Hmmm... Hubby!! sounds nice Huhhhh... Its going to be the same day like before!! Again my hubby will ignore me as if I AM AN INVISIBLE GHOST!!... And again I have to watch that Lisa sticking to him like a leech... why can't she leave him alone!! Maya!!  Ryan: Hmmm... grrrr.. grrr...  She knew that her brother was in a deep sleep...  Maya: WAKE UP!! Ry... Its already 6a.m. Ryan: grrrr....grrrr.... Maya laughed at his sleepy voice...  Maya:It looks like someone is in deep slumber!!Uff Ry.. Walking you up is an herculean task...!  Ryan: ghawww.. phesshh... ghawww....  Maya: Fine... call me when you get up!! I will be waiting!!  Saying this she hanged up the line...  In her dark world.. Ryan was the only source of light... though they were not related by blood but she loved her brother wholeheartedly... he was only one in her life who cared for her... who made her smile...  She remembered those days when he kept his meals aside for his sister... her parents didn't care to give her any food, so he saved some from his meals  hiding from his parents to feed Maya..... And mostly he gave her some money from his expenses before she came here.. in case she needed it for any emergency...  Thinking of food she remembered that she was living on just some fruits and water to survive... Nobody here cared whether she had her meals or not and specifically nobody gave her anything to eat....  She remembered the day she was insulted....  Flashback  Maya came downstairs for dinner when she found Billa having his dinner with Lisa on his side.... She suddenly felt Lisa's gaze on her while Billa was engrossed in his meals...   Lisa: Why are you here??  She spoke in an angry tone. Maya: I thought dinner was served here.... She felt too embarrassed to speak ... Lisa giving a devilish smirk: Yess Queen Elizabeth!!... the meals are served for you.. what would you like to have.. would you like to chew my brain??  Maya (confused) : I.. I.. don't... get..it... Lisa: Oh dear!!... I told you why don't chew my head as your meal!! .... coz already you're getting up my nerves....!! I told you not to come near us... your mere presence belittles us!It harms Billa 's reputation... Don't you understand that you don't deserve to eat with him!! Or you want me to put it in your fat skull!!  Maya felt her face burn with embarrassment and humiliation. She looked at Billa who was eating his meal like nothing happened...  A tear rolled down her cheeks...  Maya(sobbing) : I 'm sorry.... I wont come again... forgive me...  She raced up the stairs in a haste.. tears falling from her eyes involuntarily...  Flashback off Maya: OK Maya!!... you have some money left with you... Atleast fruits don't cost that much and you don't need to cook them ... so maybe apples on breakfast, grapes and bannana on lunch andddddd.... I will get something for dinner... God knows what!! Planning her whole day meal course she went up to her door. She opened it to see Vikram standing on the door holding a plate filled with delicacies... Vikram : Hello, Maya!!... I am Vikram!!  Maya: I recognize you... you work for my hub... sorry.. umm.. him right!!  Vikram : Yes.. I work for Billa... Now I think you should eat something... Look I brought you some pasta...  Maya: Thank you so much!! .. But you shouldn't bother about me... I was born to starve Vikram : Don't be nuts!!... You shouldn't starve... Now please obey my instructions... Eat this pasta fast.. If I get caught then I guess you know what will happen...  Maya: Ok bhaiyaa!!(brother)  Vikram(laughing) : That's a good start.. you can call me bhaiyaa!!  Maya closed the door of her room letting in Vikram...  Vikram : Why are you staying in the store room!? That woman can be really rude at sometimes... I don't feel good about her... I think she's upto something!! Maya: She wants to throw me out! She does have a control on Him... Vikram : Who Lisa!??..
