CHAPTER 12 “Bul! Bul!” Woong thrashed his limbs around wildly. “What’s he saying?” Nick asked. “Fire.” Kennedy squatted down by the couch. “The fire’s out,” she told him. “You’re safe now. Safe.” She repeated the word in Korean, but it did nothing to calm him down or keep him from kicking her in the chin. “Ow!” Nick knelt down beside her and grabbed Woong by the shoulders. “It’s ok.
