Xander was overwhelmed with joy at the thought that he had caught the criminals. He spoke into his walkie-talkie.
"The criminals have been caught. I hope I have been automatically promoted now. I can’t wait to start learning the duties of a detective." He said to his boss, who laughed at the other end and replied. "You still have a long way to go, Mr Carter, but you've done well; come out and let’s head to the office." He replied.
"Roger that," Xander replied, before making his way out of the room. The criminals were in the car with Xander and his boss, while the girls were being carried in a van behind them as they drove down the highway.
