I froze on the spot instantly. Did she just say what I think she said? MINE! Did it mean anything or was it just a coincidence? Did I even hear correctly? I'm a wolf, I have excellent hearing, but my concentration levels seem to waver when I'm with the love of my life.
"What did you just say?" My voice was barely a whisper, I couldn't believe how much this meant to me if it did mean anything at all.
