I walked through the glass doors and froze mid-step. Erin bumped straight into my back, I think it hurt me more than it did her, but she still complained

Standing in front of me were Lucas's parents. I think his Mom's name was Lexi, but his Dad's name I'd successfully managed to block out - although I still remembered the look he gave me at diner that time. Like he wished I didn't exist. Were they here to throw me out?
