Faye – POV
As soon as I stepped out of the car and slammed Oscar's door, he glared at me. My phone rang, and it was Atlas on the line. I picked up his call. "You've reached the Orion pack," he asked calmly.
"Yes, I've reached the pack," I replied. I could sense Oscar's ears tuning in to every word I spoke, but he acted as if he didn't.
"I didn't want to send you to the Orion pack, as I needed many expert healers for Ash's health. Still, I let you go because you specialize in Plague healing," Atlas explained. However, his tone seemed reluctant, as if he hated sending me here. Or maybe I was imagining it.
"I understand, Atlas. Lavender is busy looking after Ash, and that's why you sent me," I said.
"To be honest, I had not planned to send you, but Oscar being a friend was why you're the
