After the day with Lucy, I went to the club to show her that she was nothing, just but another girl. I took the drink from Michel and joined with my gang. My wolf was trying so hard to make me look at her and to take my rejection back. I just pushed him harshly to the back of my head and acted as normal as possible. I shared the news with my friend, and they praised me for how brave I was to withstand the mating bond. They told me that they would follow my path and would become forever single, enjoying our lives to the fullest. I actually believed them. I thought that I would not need my mate as long as I have this gang around me. After all, I was everyone’s favorite.
