Dinner went well. I got to talk to some of them, one of which I even found out has a mate as well, and I managed to not completely embarrass myself and Aris. Which I would call a big win.
I woke up early the next day. Catalina had put a cover over me again, but I could hear soft snores coming from her room, which was right next to mine. For the first time in a long time, I was left all by myself.
My handmaids were all still asleep, but that did not mean that I would go back to bed. I instead got up and went down to the kitchen, where I grabbed my own food. It was a simple thing, but something that I had missed. I over poured milk into my cereal, something that would never have happened if any of them had done it. It tasted even better with my f**k up.
