I closed the door behind me and leaned against it, letting out a deep sigh. Aris had looked up when I entered and grinned. “That bad?” He asked.  “Worse than you can imagine.” I answered.  My handmaidens had access to pretty much every room in the palace, there really weren’t many places for me to hide away from them. That was mainly because the one room they didn’t enter constantly shifted, as Aris was the reason for their discomfort. I found him in his study, as I usually did, and happily made use of my mate to get away from the strong tension between my friends.  The fight hadn’t been resolved.
