I wasn’t the only one who was in dire need of a fight. It was the fate of alphas to always orchestrate the battle, but rarely participate in it themselves. We stood on the sidelines, generals to an army we envied. So, much like their opponents, the alphas jumped at my invitation to join the games. For fame and glory or just for bloodshed mattered very little.
