“Let’s get a drink.” Demetrius suggested and lightly pushed my shoulder to get me to move. It was almost comical how I hadn’t been able to even step into that room for weeks, yet now I couldn’t make myself move away from it. The light push turned into a strong hand on my shoulder as he guided my numb body down to my office. I could still feel her pain, it washed over her like waves. Everytime I thought they had managed to do something to lessen it, a new wave came crashing down on her.
