LIKE HIS promise to Athena, Elijah went to the Elsher mansion despite knowing that he wasn’t invited there.
He was a part of the Elsher family, so he didn’t need an invitation in the first place.
That is why the guards couldn’t do anything but let him in despite Dave giving them an instruction earlier not to let Elijah go inside at all costs.
“Elijah—What are you doing here?” Penny asked, her eyes widening upon looking at her pathetic son-in-law. “Dave, I thought you already instructed the guards to ban this jerk?”
“I did, but I guess they were stupid to follow instructions,” Dave replied, his teeth gritting in rage.
Dave looked at the other guards in the living room and instructed them, “Drag that bastard out of the mansion, and fire those imbecile guards at the gate!”
