Elena's POV
I quickly extracted myself from Luke's embrace and lowered my head to fix my clothes. Luke's mother uncovered her mouth and looked at us with the faintest smirk on her face.
"Oh, I'm sorry to interrupt you."
"Mother..." Luke's tone was helpless as he sighed heavily and buttoned up his shirt.
"I just dropped by to pick up my sketches." Luke's mother said lightly as she rummaged through the displayed works, quickly finding the painting she needed. "Oh, here it is! I'll leave you two to it!"
"Wait, Mother. While you're here, I need to ask you something." I heard Luke sigh and watched as he walked over to her, starting to tell her about his idea for me to use the studio while I started out with some designs for jewelry so that we could move forward with our collaboration.
