As Xander got into his car to go back to the office he stopped briefly and sighed. He couldn’t believe all that has happened so far since running into Meredith.
The only person who has haunted his dreams and his awaking hours since Celine. No one has made him feel like he has been feeling lately... not even Celine.
His heart draws to her. His mind searches for her. His body aches with desire… for her. Haunting him in every way possible.
Being encompassed nowhere near what he felt for Celine… and that scares him more than anything in his life. Scared not only to feel for her, but that those same feelings run so deep within; he could drown himself in them forever never to return to what he knew before. Because everything before her was a lie.
