What are you doing Xander? I said to myself as I hopped into the Benz and started it. I leaned back briefly in the seat, lifted my head and closed my eyes while shaking it side to side in disbelief.
Riiinnnng… Riiinnnng… Riiinnnng… Riiinnnng. I heard my phone but tried to ignore it.
Riiinnnng… Riiinnnng… It went off again, but this time I clicked the side button to stop it.
Sighing hard I sat up straight, reached for the phone and looked at the caller ID. Shoot! Mental slap. It’s John. ‘I have been gone too long.’ I said to myself.
Hitting redial on the phone… “Hey John what’s up?” I said like I haven’t been gone for hours and was waiting for his call.
