After Meredith’s dire plea, Dr. Townsend and I arranged to have 24 hour security on her floor with two officers to a shift. Although their main job was to watch over her, they would place themselves one on either side of the hall so as to not look suspicious to the other patients or their loved ones.
The thought was also so that when Richard came back… and we knew he was going to come back he wouldn’t get suspicious with them there.
When Richard shows back up he won’t know what hit him.
Since Meredith was already near the nurses station we felt leaving her in room 3114 would be the best course of action. This way Richard was not alarmed when he came back and we could catch him red handed trying to do something to harm her before he could actually commit the act.
