It wasn’t easy for Adam, not seeing Jojo for two days. He still worried that Jojo hadn’t overlooked his big screw up the other night, and it put Adam on edge.
“Dude, chill, man,” Pete said. “Put your phone away. Everyone’s noticing you’re bagging it in a Ziploc and taking it with you to the showers. He said everything was fine and he would let you know when you can come over or hang out again.”
“Easy for you to say, I made a fool of myself the other night,” Adam said.
“He said not to worry about it, right?” Pete asked.
“Yeah, but I don’t know,” Adam said.
“Let’s go through it again. For the last time.” Pete shook his head. “So you kiss in the courtyard. Then you and he are in his bedroom. You’re both kissing. It’s getting hot and heavy.”
