WEEK1_How to create an initial outline_Emov
1. Write your Idea:
1.1 A girl had a crush on a boy she often sees in the library
1.2 The guy does not notice the girl exsists.
2. Draw the plot using Ideas:
Ashley always comes to the library by herself to study. The peace and quiet of the history section is very conjusive for her.
In that part of library, Jeff also likes to read books about world history. He thinks that reading is like traveling without a passport.
One day, Ashley needed a book about the european royal family. It so happens Jeff was reading it.
3. Add scene, supporting characters and logic.
Scene 1: Ashley in the library getting homework done:
Ashley felt safe inbetween the shelves of the history section. Her favorite teacher Ms. Ramirez gave an interesting assignment about the european monarchy. Unlike her classmates who would depend on the internet, Ashley preferred getting information from books.
Scene 2: Ashley searches the book and eventually confronts her crush
As skimming through the titles, the one she was looking for cannot be found. Eventually her gaze shifted to an empty reading desk. The book she was searching is there. Ashley quickly approached the desk and grabbed the book. As she was going back to her spot, a confused and gentle deep voice spoke. "Hey, I was reading that."
Ashley's eyes widened, the boy she had been admiring from afar is finally speaking to her. It did not count as a meaningful conversation, but by chance she finally got his attention.
Scene 3 Ashley introduces herself to the guy she admires.
"Sorry, I needed this." The girl confessed, firmly grasping the book. The boy noticed the tighy hold and questioned. "What for?" To which Ashley answered for an assignment. Eventually the guy needed it too for the same reason. Both realized they have the same history teacher, Ms. Ramirez. They decided to share the book to get the homework done.
Ashley introduced herself and her secret crush finally revealed his name, Jeff.
