"Alex… hey. hey. Wake up!" Sandy shook her husband's shoulder while she continued to tap his face. She was startled when Alexander suddenly flinched and was starting to groan. "N-no.. Amara, Don't go, please.. don't leave me alone. Come back, no!" Right away, he woke up and accidentally pushed Sandy away from him. She found herself rolling out in the bed and fell into the cold floor. Her whole world has been shaking up as she gasped for breath. She didn't see it coming from him. " Amara? What are you doing there?" Just then, Alexander noticed her down next to their bed. He was clueless about what he had done to her. "I.. accidentally fell here," she lied. Sandy kept searching for her strength to stand up, but she had broken her ankle. And it's preventing her from standing. "I'm sorry baby..perhaps I did scare you. Come here, let me help you." Not only her ankle was broken, but Sandy's back. In fact, he had pushed her harder which caused her whole body to ache. "T-thanks.. Are you alright? You were shaking earlier," He kept murmuring her name while he slept. But little did she know that it wasn't meant for her. "Yeah, just some nightmare I guess. Did I hurt you? Let me check your ankle," although he did hurt her physically. Sandy knows that she can't get mad at him. He wasn't aware of the surroundings when it happened. "I'm not sure if you are really okay, I'm going to bring you to a hospital tomorrow. Lay down here, mi amore. I missed you," she did get closer next to him. Alexander took her hands and hugged her tightly. She didn't know why he was already missing her. They've been spending a lot of time together after they had arrived back in the mansion. " Was it a nightmare? You seemed terrified and scared," Based on what she witnessed he looked scared and terrified. And it confused her why he kept calling her name. "Yeah.. Can we go back to sleep now?" He kissed her lips and lay down afterwards. Sandy silently followed him on the bed, he was still embracing her fully. But her eyes were wide open as her mind was occupied with some thoughts. She can sense it, something was off. There was something that she didn't know about his past, her guts were screaming for it. God knows how she wanted to interrogate him, but she knew it wasn't good timing either. It's 1 o'clock in the morning. "Sleep well, my queen. I love you so much," Alexander kissed her back and he went to sleep. Sandy was left in her silence with bafflements. 'Who exactly are you, Amara? Are you really me or someone else?' Her mind ended up being paranoid and doubts. She knew it, her husband was hiding something from her. And she will absolutely search for the truth. Even though it would shatter her world. "Tell me when it hurts while I massage your ankle, alright?" The doctor muttered and began to touch her toes. Morning came faster and Alexander did bring her to the hospital. She hadn't gotten enough sleep, her mind had been wandering the whole time. And it upset her without getting any clarification or clues. " Well, since you didn't say anything. I assumed it didn't hurt at all, this is just mild cramps. It's nothing serious, how did you get into this situation anyway?" Once again she looked back at the blonde woman who was her doctor at the moment. Sandy could guess she was in her 30s. " I accidentally fell off in the bed last night, " she timidly answered and gave her a tiny smile. Alexander left her inside to answer some emergency call. He's taking it too long that she couldn't focus. "I see, it happens sometimes to me as well. And may I ask if you don't mind, how's your life living with Alexander White?" Instinctively, Sandy's head turned back to her. She was still smiling at her, showing her perfect set of white teeth. "Well, it's alright. But how'd you know him?" Sandy knows that it was a dumb question. Of course, everyone knew her husband except her. But she wanted to get some feedback from her. She sounded like she had known him that well. " I've been working here for a decade already, perhaps you didn't know that this is Mr. White's property. The hospital," she didn't know. If she did already, then she wouldn't be asking that question. Now she completely found herself useless, she was dumbly stupid and her husband's businesses. " My bad, I didn't know this one. I guess you knew him that much, right? As you had said, you've worked here long ago." "Well, not his entire life. He kept it private and safe, I only knew his outside profile. But isn't it strange that you didn't know this place? I mean, you've been here two times before already. I'm pretty confused how you'd forget that," the doctor casually stated. She even laughed a little bit while fixing her sleeve. " W-what do you mean, before?. I never been here, as long as I can remember it's my first time - " " All is well now? " She didn't finish her words when Alexander spoke behind her. Sandy managed to pull herself off from what she had found out. She was starting to get anxious about her situation. What the doctor said was like a bomb that exploded her head. " Yes- her ankle will be fine after she gets enough rest. Please don't sprint or move quickly, it might worsen the damage." Sandy remained silent while she listened to her. She clearly saw how her expression changed. "That's good, shall we leave now mi amore?" He held her hand and smiled at her. But Sandy's was spacing out as of the moment. She kept staring at his eyes, dumbly. There's something that she needed to see through his emotions. But there's nothing. She didn't know what to do or speak next. She was completely out of her senses to cope with the surrounding.
