Stephen pov 

I kept walking around even dancing with a few she wolves. I couldn't believe a couple of them even tried to mark me right on the spot, goddess these women are nuts, I heard a throat being cleared as everyone looked up on stage, the king and queen was up on stage, damn that woman is scarier then I am, we all looked up at them as Hayley began to talk, 

"Hello ladies and gentlemen, thank you for coming to the mating ball ceremony, some of you will find your mates tonight, I hope everyone does, but unfortunately, some of you won't, and for that I am so very sorry, every year we invite serval packs to come, in hoping that they would find their mates, so let the fun began it's time for you to search for your mate, Grab some wine or what other you prefer to drink, and try to smell your mates scent, if you need a room for tonight or two nights, Wendy the owner of the hotel will be gladly to give you a room for ninety dollars, she's a very sweet human, so please do not scare her so please have fun, and when you find your mate. Please come to see me so I can write it down, until then enjoy the night. But there's only one rule, if you want to reject your mate. There better be a good damn reason for it. Just because she's too girly or to much of a tomboy, is not an excuse, okay people carry on," Hayley walked off the stage to get a glass of champagne, then walked back up on stage, she set beside Darryl, he held her hand smiling at the many people that was looking for their mate, he linked to her since the music was loud, 

"Do you think any of them will find their mate tonight, I know many has came to so many of these and still haven't found" 

"I surely hope so, Con had told me if he hadn't found his mate by the end of two nights, he will pick a chosen mate. He's tired of being alone, I think Calvin is as well, they both will pick a chosen mate unless they tend to imprint, once they imprint I'ts done, they will stop at nothing to keep them safe," 

"We will see what will happen tonight, let's just watch and enjoy the night," 

Stephan pov 

I was getting bored with all these females, some had way to much perfume on others looked like clowns that wore too much makeup, I saw Jasmine dancing across the dance floor with some guy, but I could tell he wasn't her mate, she was bored, but then I saw someone at the corner of my eye, he walked right passed me, holy f*****g hell it was,Con he was from the river moon pack he was a strict Alpha kept his pack in line, he even put them in the cells like I did if any of them broke the rules, he walked right up to Jasmine, her eyes huge as she smelled his scent. Mine they both had said, "thank the goddess she will leave me alone now, I decided to get a room for tonight, I walked out of the hall to the office, and that's when I smelled her scent, blueberries and whip cream, damn where is that scent coming from. I followed the scent all the way to the office, opened the door and walked up to the desk. That's when I saw her, what the f**k the human is my mate, I couldn't deny she was beautiful, and I couldn't keep my eyes off of her, she had long beauitful black hair, the greenest of eyes, and she was 5.8 she looked tired, but she smiled a beautiful smile, "hi welcome to Wendy's hotel, I'm Wendy how can I help you today," oh how I wish she kept talking, because her voice sounded like she was singing, after a few minutes I found my voice, "you have a beautiful name Wendy, I bet your husband doesn't let you go very far" I had to find out if she had someone if she did, I would have to reject her and just find my chosen mate or try to imprint on someone, I watched her blush "no sir I don't have a husband, I'm way to busy to even think of dating, I'm the only one that runs this place, soon I hope I'll be able to hire a few people to work for me, and I'll be able to build on to this place, I plan on buying some land and build a house in the back of the hotel so I can keep an eye on it," she didn't know why she just told him all this, but she couldn't look away from him, there was just something about him. She looked him up and down, as she looked Into his baby green eyes, when she saw him looking back at her, she blushed and stuttered, ``how...how...how many nights will you be staying." He was thinking to himself forever, but he softly spoke "for two nights beautiful. How much would that be,"  she blushed a deep red, it will be only ninety dollars, it's the special night for the reunion y'all are having," he was thinking to himself, reunion? Oh that's right she doesn't know"  "that's fine, here's three hundred for being so nice and such a lovely lady. I hope we can get to know each other, how about you come to the reunion with me tomorrow?"
