She thought she was hearing wrong when he said what he said, her heart started beating fast. As she turned around to look at him, she whispered to him, "what did you just say to me?" She watched him walk over to her putting his arms around her waist, he looked into her greenish blue eyes, "I said I don't want your hotel Wendy, I want you, she looked up into his eyes, she could have sworn they were a deep blue but they were black. She blinked a few times and they were the deep blue once more. She shook her head, she thought to herself, she was going crazy. His fingers went to her chin so her head would lean up to him. He leaned down softly kissing her lips. She started to kiss him back. As he lifted her up to sit her on his dark marble desk. He heard a knock on the door as they stopped the kiss to catch their breath. Wendy hopped off the desk, he already knew who it was, it was his beta Nole. She was a stronger fighter, and he liked her. She was the only one that said no to him and kicked him right where it hurt when he didn't leave her alone, now her mate was his brother, Curtis, he wanted his brother to be his beta, but he didn't want to be so he had asked Nole to be his beta, she said yes, but he better leave her alone, I said deal and she's been my beta for almost twelve years now, she walked into the office when he said enter, Closing the door behind her, she turned looking at Wendy and nodded but she was bowing her head, she smiled and said hello, “you must be Wendy, i've heard so much about you, How do you like the house so far’ “Well i've only seen the outside and the office, He said he had to make a few phone calls, and then he will show me around, Noel nodded, and looked at Stephen. “If you want, I can make the phone calls, and you can show her around,” “Alright, that sounds like a plan, There is a list of men you need to call for a meeting in two days, about territory, and that's about it, set up the meeting and what time they will be here, and that's it,” She nods, as she gets behind the desk when Stephen walked to the front, “So are you ready to get going, I have lots to show you, and i'm sure there are others that would like to meet you as well,” he grabbed her hand gently as he walked her out of the office, He showed her the living room and the kitchen she was surprised that he had three stoves in the kitchen, she looked around and saw a huge sink in the corner, she walked closer, she saw a pretty young lady washing dishes, she really wanted to help so she picked up a towel and started drying them, as she washed, thirty minutes later everything was washed and cleaned, the young girl smiled at Wendy saying “thank you”
“You are very welcome, my name is Wendy, what is your name?” the young girl looked at Stephen, and she nodded, “My name is Jo Jo,.” “ Well it's nice to meet you Jo Jo, i hope to see you again soon, they walked out of the kitchen into the dinning hall, Her eyes huge, as she turned around looking at him,
“How many people live here Stephen?” he chuckled as he answered her, ``Many live here, there are friends and family,” .“ this isn't a cult is it? I am not into that, maybe I should get going? He started laughing, This isn't a cult wendy, I promise, this is just family and friends, that's all, they walked out and went outside, into the back yard, she saw people far off, that looked like they were fighting, “Stephen I think your family are fighting, maybe you should stop them,” he chuckled, “No there not fighting, they are training, they train to help protect the family,
Now she looked at him like he was nuts, protect from what? He sighed as he took her hand once again, when you are ready I will tell you, again she shook her head, thinking, that this guy is a little weird, she looked around and saw a huge pool, then on the other side of the mansion was a few gardens, she walked over to take a look, veggie gardens, this she liked, then she saw a few flower gardens very beautiful. She saw for the kids. But when she looked out at the forest she got a strange feeling she did not like,
