Hannah was still retching an hour after the agents threw her in the cell with Mr. Tong’s butchered corpse. She hugged her arms around her stomach and heaved again. “Seems your friend thought he could keep secrets from us.” At first, the agent held Hannah’s head in place with iron strength so she couldn’t turn away. “He didn’t want to tell us where you were going, you know.
