Ella was lying on the floor of the interrogation room as people were bustling around her. Her knees were bent up and a pillow was placed underneath them. Under her head was a folded up jacket. The sounds were muffled and she could not sort out what anyone was saying. She could see that the office area outside had dozens of people arguing, most of them in suits and formal office attire. Three people were in red, white and yellow ambulance attire as they wheeled in a portable bed. She understood that she was to be taken to a hospital, but she did not understand what all the people in suits were all about.
