“Thank you for coming in Mrs. Blackwell.” The man was gesturing for Ella to sit down at a table. Already sitting at the other side was another man, both men dressed in a cheap suit and old tie. They were somewhere in their 50ties and both had thinning hair. Ella nodded to them as she sat down “of course. Have you found anything about my brother’s murder?” Ella looked at them with anticipation. Both men looked at each other before one of them cleared his throat “well, we have been looking into some suspects. But we are more concerned about the fact that 3 of your siblings have passed within the last 6 months.”
Ella tilted her head, and she seemed genuinely confused “but they are not related.” The other man then shot in “and how would you know that Mrs. Blackwell?” Ella just shook her head
