In a daze, I step into my office. The walls have been painted a light sage green. My favorite color….Soft ivory curtains with delicate lavender flowers are pulled back from the windows. There are two huge vases of flowers on each side of my desk. One has yellow roses and white hydrangeas arranged in a massive blue crystal vase. It’s etched with delicate swirls. The other is a clear one with the same etchings but it contains peach garden roses and white anemones. There must be at least three dozen flowers in each vase. Between the two vases, there are four large white boxes with sage green silk ribbons. In the center is another much smaller box with the same ribbon.
