I wake to the most delicious scent of sandalwood and pancakes. Strange combo I think as I snuggle deeper into the fluffy pillow. I swear the hotel pillows when I travel with Ellis make it hard to go home to mine.
Ellis! Oh gosh I’m not travelling.
I jolt upright and hear a laugh. Glancing over I see Ellis in nothing but a fluffy gray towel wrapped around his waist. His hair is wet. He’s setting plates down on a small table.
“Morning.” He says with a grin.
Damn does he have to be half naked right now.
“Umm morning.” I look down at my clothes.
“You fell asleep in the living room last night, so I put you in here and I took the couch. Hungry?” I rub my eyes as I answer yes.
