“Too bad your surfing lessons got rained out.” Henry says as we have our usual morning elevator conversation.
“I doubt I’d have been very good after one lesson. One day maybe I’ll get to try it.”
He grins. “Ah but half the fun is failing and falling. Though I doubt Ellis would let you.” He adds dryly.
“Meaning what?”
He shrugs his eyes twinkling. “Surfing lingo. You’ll figure it out when you try it one day.”
He ignores my confusion. “Nice job convincing Coline to sign a contract. Susannah is thrilled she’ll have a storefront here and visit a lot more. She hasn’t seen her much since she became so famous.”
