My brain is spiraling. Did I dream all that? I have no idea how I made it through the rest of the game. I saw movement in front of me but I couldn’t tell you any details. All I recall is Ellis basically tugging me back to my chair. He only said one thing when we went back to the game. “I overwhelmed you. Do you need time to process all this Laurel?”
“Yes.”
“I’ll give you that tonight. But we talk tomorrow on the plane. I won’t make this weird. We’ll go about this just like we were before the last thirty minutes. Deal?”
“Deal.”
