I stare at Kyle as he jerks his head up in surprise. There’s relief there too. I’m angry at the moment. Depending on the tale Kyle Harris is about to reveal I’m glad Laurel isn’t here. Or Kevin. I thought his blue eyes looked familiar. I am hoping he says something that calms me down.
All her little jabs at Cora about motherhood and being pregnant run through my brain. She was pissed at Cora for abandoning Kevin. I should have figured it out sooner.
“You already know….I knew you were a sharp guy. Yes, Cora is Kevin’s mother. I’ve been dying to come tell you the truth for years.” He stands up. “I think I’m going to need a drink for this. You want one now?”
