Fear.
The powerful natural and primitive emotion was not new to me. It has an important function which allows us to survive. Fear alerts us to the presence of danger and I am in complete and utter paralyzing terror of the danger that descending upon me.
This emotion I understood.
Adrenaline.
The fear sparked my adrenaline increasing my heart rate tenfold and sweat started to coat my cold skin. A normal response when a huge red frightening dragon circled you like prey. The reaction a natural response to fear.
A reaction I understood.
Exhilaration.
A surge of excitement and happiness coursed through my veins. As if I had been shocked with a powerful bolt of electricity that heightened every sense and made every nerve ending in my body tingle.
