“Ready?” Leui asked as he turned to Gie, Mhir and Tinum.
Gie nervously gulped as he looked outside the barrier. But, in the end, he nodded. There was still some hesitation in his eyes but when he turned to look at Leui and then met Leui’s gaze, he took a deep breath and then closed his eyes.
When he opened them again, his gaze became firm and his eyes were filled with determination. “Ready.” He answered as he held tight the strap of his bag that is filled with foods and other necessities. A knife hung on his waist as his weapon.
“Ready!” Mhir answered as she raised her fist.
“Then – “ Tinum spoke as he looked forward. “ – let’s go.” He said and smiled.
“Yes!” they answered as they stepped outside the barrier.
