“Tinum, what happened on the Other Shore?” Mhir asked as they ate their dinner. “Why does it look different now?” she added.
The night wind is cold and occasionally blows the fire that is illuminating them, and also warming them. The fireflies are flying around them, accompanied by the sound of the insects. Some plants also are squirming, and their glowing petals, leaves and vines look entertaining to them.
But, instead of answering Mhir’s question, Tinum asked her back. “Did you meet any other races on your way?” he said. His expression looked calm as he peeled a fruit using his dagger.
They all shook their heads. “No.” Mhir answered, looking bewildered.
Tinum finally raised his head and looked at them. “… not even the fairies or nymphs?” he asked again.
