In the year 2038, the United States live in a state of security and prosperity. The Jericho Foundation, a private military founded mid World War two, has since made a name for itself as a peacekeeping and disaster relief task force intervening in acts of global terrorism and natural disasters in the public eye. Jericho is also a major benefactor in the medical and military development fields that has put the country ahead in both conventional and militarized technological achievements, making the USA the world’s top singular military superpower.

Behind the scenes, however, a covert sector of Jericho known as Anubis works in the shadows neutralizing anomalous threats and keeping the existence of supernatural life from becoming known to the public. Officially the Anubis sector does not exist in the public record and all members enlisted to join, from criminals used mostly as disposable physical labor, to skilled individuals working in intelligence gathering and militaristic roles, and up to the elite specters, seasoned and highly skilled ex-Jericho special forces turned monster hunter, must give up their lives in the public eye, often being declared legally dead or stricken from the public record entirely and dedicate themselves to Anubis completely.

In recent years there has been an increase in attacks on the organizations Jericho and Anubis from a mysterious band of abnormal werewolves labeled the Lunary. The attacks have not been outright, and the Lunary tend to lean more towards guerrilla warfare-type tactics, sabotage, the intervention of operations, and in general being a hindrance to the organization. On one of Anubis’s more recent recovery operations, a group of the Lunary tried to intervene and the operatives managed to take one of the Lunary alive for the first time since their persistent attacks started more than fifty years ago. Could this be an opportunity to learn more about the supernatural terrorist cell and unravel the mystery that shrouds their motives? If so, what could it mean for the future of Jericho and all its divisions? Or is it all Lunarian sabotage?
