Jed pulled out his gun and shot her in the same thigh and as Lila groaningly fell to her knees, he whipped the sword out of her hand and then caught her on her other hand, the hand with the wounded shoulder, such that when he started pulling her towards him, her arm stretched out, bringing a pain to her that was so excruciating she burst out into tears.
Putting his gun back, he then lifted her up by her neck and began to strangle her.
"Do you yield?" Jed asked.
"I will never yield,” she said and kicked him in the face, and as he let her go and staggered back, Lila dropped, painfully managing to stay on her feet.
Jed groaned in displeasure and hurled his whip at her wanting to hit her in the face but she caught it, and when she lifted her leg and stepped on it, he got pulled towards her
