CHAPTER 9

Hendrick gently kisses Ryke's lips and pulls him closer to his body. Ryke closes his eyes and reciprocates the kiss.

The kiss is so gentle yet passionate, Hendrick's hand slides inside Ryke's back and starts to feel and explore the soft skin, caressing the spine moving up and down.

The warm touch of the bare hand on Ryke's back sends thousands of volts to his body and he starts to feel weird. Hendrick licked his mole and bit his lower lips that made Ryke moan softly.

"Aaahhh..." Hendrick took the opportunity to slide his tongue and invade the sweet cavern and explore it. Their tongues meet and Hendrick quickly sucks his tongue hard, sliding in and out of his mouth that made them both moan in unison.

"Mmmmmmmppph.." Ryke feels like he is in paradise and wants to continue this heavenly feeling.

He doesn't know why he is allowing Hendrick to invade his privacy and let Hendrick kiss him anytime he wants. He remembers that they just need to wash their faces so he taps Hendrick shoulder and breaks the kiss.

"Hendrick....they need us there and you have to do the closing remarks soon."

Hendrick licks his own lips and smashes them again to Ryke's lips. When satisfied, he releases Ryke's lips.

"Aaaahhhh..mine! Only mine." Hendrick caresses those lips with his thumb.

Ryke didn't speak at all and began to clean his face. When the two finished, they came out of the room and went back to the event. People are still busy with other parlor games so they enjoyed the rest of the program.

Finally, the event is over. Everybody's tired and exhausted yet happy.

Ryke is so tired and exhausted. Hendrick is giving him an instruction but his eyesight is becoming blurry. He tried to shrug his head, he thought he was just feeling dizzy. Hendrick's instruction didn't sink into his mind.

He walks towards Hendrick's car to put his boss' stuff in the backseat. He decided to go back to the event hall to pick some things but his legs wobble when he steps again. His eyesight becomes dark and he doesn't know what happened next.

Hendrick noticed that Ryke is so pale while he is giving instruction. Hendrick sensed that Ryke was not feeling well so he followed his secretary to the car until he saw Ryke lose his balance and quickly caught him on his hand.

Hendrick panicked. He asked for help, he didn't know what to do. He saw their company nurse, Aries, Adam, and Jerson Davis approaching. Jerson Davis made a quick check-up inside Hendrick's car. The nurse assists and lends the equipment to Jerson Davis.

"How is he, brother?"

"Don't worry, he is just exhausted and looks like he is anemic."

"What should I do?"

"Let him rest for a week at least."

Hendrick feels guilty. He remembers Ryke's hard work when he was on leave. He always got home late because of assisting him at night which is not supposed to be his work. He made too much teasing and playing around with Ryke.

Hendrick decided to bring home Ryke. While in the car, he asked Benny to drive carefully and slowly. Ryke's head is on his broad shoulder and the body is leaning on his chest because he is tall, legs are a bit bent on the seats.

Benny can see his boss is really worried and keeps staring at Ryke's face and caressing his face with his free hand. Benny can tell his boss to fall deep with his secretary in less than two months. Since he started working as a driver's bodyguard, he treats Hendrick as his own son.

No need to express or talk, showing support, and without question, Hendrick knows that he is not against any of his decisions especially if it makes him happy. Benny is one of those few who know Hendrick inside and out. Benny glances at the rear mirror, he smiles in his thoughts. Hendrick, finally someone breaks your wall.

When they reach the mansion, Benny quickly opens the door of the car and carefully assists Hendrick to carry Ryke so as not to hit the door. He carries him in a bridal style and the butler opens the door for them and Hendrick brings Ryke directly to his room who is still in a deep sleep.

Hendrick carefully places him in the middle of the huge bed. He touches his forehead and caresses his cheek.

Hendrick is cursing in his thoughts. He is mad at himself for not showing care and not paying attention to Ryke's health while he is enjoying his own game.

Ryke woke up still feeling dizzy, he realized he is not on his own but to a familiar one he once slept over. He looks at the man beside him. He is hungry but he feels dizzy. He decided to wake up Hendrick but he can't move well, Hendrick's body is encircling on him, and sleep like a dead log.

You beast, you always take advantage of me when I am unconscious.

Ryke laughs on his own though, then why is he not confronting the man? Does he like it even if Hendrick is taking advantage of him? Why did he allow Hendrick to kiss him?

Ryke is not sure what he feels, all he knows, he likes teasing Hendrick especially when he is mad. He stares at Hendrick's face. He looks so immaculate when he is asleep.

His angelic cold face, who would think that this man is a beast when he is awake. Ryke tummy growls again.

"Y-Hendrick...Hendrick...I'm hungry.." Ryke tried to move Hendrick's body until he stirs in his sleep and snuggles more on the crook of his neck.

Ryke gasps when he feels the warm breath from Hendrick's mouth that is slightly open.

"Hendrick...I'm hungry..." Hendrick still didn't respond. Ryke pulls Hendrick's head more on his chest and suffocates him until he can't breathe. Hendrick almost loses his breath.

"Ryke...what are you doing?"

"I'm hungry, but you are like a dead koala when you sleep. I can't move you see?"Ryke lowered the duvet and looked down at their bodies just to make himself shocked and muted with wide eyes.

Both of them are topless and just wearing boxers. Ryke is not convinced, he feels himself and even checks with his own eyes if he is wearing underwear under the boxers.

Ryke is forgetting Hendrick is just beside him and even peeping to confirm and prove that he surely put and wears underwear to Ryke when he changes his clothes.

"You! Don't look." Ryke blushed.

"What are you hiding, I saw it all Ryke." Hendrick teased him more.

"Y-Hendrick...W-why are we both half-naked?" Ryke asked.

"We did something memorable, you don't know?" Hendrick chuckles but receives a hit to his chest from Ryke.

"Why are we naked? What did you do?" Ryke is becoming serious, Hendrick quickly grabs both hands and hugs him.

"Yesterday night, you were shivering, I closed the aircon already but you said you feel very cold. I called my brother and he said, I will remove my clothes and yours and make you warm until you fall asleep again and stop shaking."

"Are you telling the truth or half-lie?"

"Ryke, you are very cold last night, I closed the aircon, but I feel hot..so...I...made a win-win situation. Haha." Hendrick quickly hugged Ryke's legs and his arms to stop him from attacking him.

"Ryke, if you don't stop hitting me, I will kiss your n*****s until you ask for more." Hendrick warned with a serious face and licked his lower lips.

"How dare you treat me with your perverted face!" Ryke rolled his eyes.

"Ryke! I'm not perverted, if I am, maybe because you are tempting.." Hendrick pouted.

"Ok enough, forget it. I wake you up because I am hungry. Why didn't you wake me up during dinner time?"

"Excuse me, Mr. Secretary, you are unconscious and you yourself don't want to wake up in reality."

"What do you mean?"

"You collapsed yesterday, and you need to rest. Brother said you must rest for one week. So..."

"So..what?"

"Stay with me here for one week."

"I have my own house."

"I know, but don't you want to save from your salary? Don't rent at all, You can leave here for free and you can save more from your salary, gas, and so on."

"Wait..how did you know that I am saving?" Ryke suddenly gets curious.

"Ah-... Of course, an employee must save money for the future right?"

"Are you telling me to live with you here?"

"Sort of."

"No, I am not your husband!"

"Then be my husband."

"W-what?"

"Let's go, I thought you were hungry."

Hendrick gets off from the bed and pulls a pair of the shirts in the closet and throws the other one on Ryke's face.

"You!"

Hendrick walks out of the room while Ryke is still contemplating their conversation earlier.

What was that? Is he proposing to me just like that? Does he like me to marry him? He doesn't even confess what he truly feels. Tch. Such a coward. If he likes me then why is he not showing it. Why is he acting like a beast?

Ryke shrugs his thoughts and gets off the bed after wearing the shirt. He doesn't know what he feels for Hendrick and he doesn't know Hendrick's feelings towards him. Though they kissed already that doesn't mean the person loves him.

Oh my god.

Ryke covers his mouth. Does he love Hendrick that's why he is willing to let the CEO invade his life just like this? Or he is just physically attracted to the man and the kiss is just part of it. Is it normal to kiss a person twice even if you don't have feelings or because he already loves Hendrick that's why he is provoking him until the man will kiss him?

Why he likes to cuddle him and even sleep with him on the same bed half-naked.

Aaahhh.

Ryke starts to walk out of the room as he leaves those thoughts. Is he the only one feeling that way and Hendrick is just toying with him? His heart clenches in pain, he doesn't want to become his toy and he doesn't want Hendrick to think he is easy to get.

This is wrong, I must distance myself or else, I am the one who will suffer in the end.

Ryke didn't work for one week and stayed at their mansion. His Dad is busy on his business trip abroad. He felt bored so he decided to visit and buy some stuff at the mall. He knows his bodyguard is following him so he is not scared to walk alone.

It's lunchtime and he is hungry already. He gets inside the cozy restaurant and the staff bring him to the vacant table and order the food he likes.

Ryke was busy scrolling his phone when he heard a sexy laugh not too far from his table.

"Hahaha..ah, Hendrick. You never change. So when will I start?"

"You can start on Monday."

"That's great, hmm."

Ryke is not looking, even he doesn't look at them when he hears the name Hendrick and when the man speaks, it's clearly Hendrick.

After a few minutes, the woman and Hendrick passed to his table without noticing him. He saw the woman clinging his arms to Hendrick's waist and arm.

Ryke doesn't understand but his heart clenches in pain. He feels jealous and how he wishes he was that woman.

Who is that woman? Are they dating? Why are they too close and sweet to each other?

Ryke lost his appetite, suddenly his world stopped spinning and his heart stopped and crashed into pieces. He doesn't know how long he's been like that, he didn't notice that his tears are racing on his cheeks.

He takes out some cash and places it on the table and leaves the place quickly and goes home.
