"He is using you," Ronan said once we got out of the driveway, his brows drawn, his eyes fixed on the road.
"You don't know that," I said, my voice so low it was almost a whisper.
I felt horrible for just letting go of Florian's hand when he was the only one to extend a hand to me when I truly needed it. I felt like a traitor, just like Ronan and Damien, and it didn't help matters that I was in Ronan's car like he hadn't shown me utmost hostility ever since it happened.
"Oh, I do. You are naive. Dumb. Unintelligent. A f*****g typical girl who wants to jump ships and run towards any man who offers her a..."
"Don't you f*****g say that about me! You aoded Damien to cheat, a day before our wedding."
"And what if I did?" He asked, turning to me briefly. "For goodness f*****g sake, he was going to have to listen to your stupid whining and deal with whatever boring s*x you bring to the table. You couldn't even offer him one night of freedom?"
My chest heaved, and I turned, searching for something. I wasn't even sure what. I had already made the mistake of getting into this car. With every word he had just said, I was convinced I didn't want to be near him for another five minutes.
"Drop me."
"Like f*****g hell, I would."
"I said f*****g drop me, Ronan!"
He turned to me, then gave a small laugh. "You got in here yourself, dear sis. I am taking you with me. You wanna be a slut, you should be a slut with the right person. You are not jumping on that bastard's lap while on my watch."
Alarm bells immediately went off in my head, and my eyes widened, my chest heaving. I straightened, my eyes wide.
"Mum... she isn't really in the hospital, is she?"
He gave a chuckle. "So f*****g gullible, are we? You think after the humiliation you put them all through, she wants to see you?"
"Ronan!" I screamed, unable to believe that he would really do this. Seeing him slumped with Damien in that club had been more than enough damage, and now seeing him do this so willingly...
He gave another cackle, then shook his head. "Poor Florian. He must be so pissed at his little b***h. But you will be fine. You would be right where you were supposed to be from the very beginning."
I slapped him hard across the cheek, my chest heaving, my teeth gritted. It didn't help my condition that he just continued to laugh, his head thrown back, his smile big.
I felt trapped, cornered, and like any trapped person would, I jumped on the first and only option I had. I tried to open the door, but it was locked, and there was no way for me to open it.
I turned to him, and he was still laughing hard, his hand reaching for his phone. I immediately grabbed the steering wheel, causing the car to swerve violently towards the right.
His eyes widened as he turned to me, and before I could register anything, he hit me hard across the face, causing me to fall back and hit my head on the window on my side.
"f*****g b***h!" He cursed, his chest heaving as he grabbed the phone nonetheless.
I leapt in again, and he hit me hard, grabbing my hair and pushing me back. I was already dizzy the first time, and when I turned around to the window, there was a circle spot of blood.
My hand came to my head, and I slowly leaned back, feeling my strength leave me slowly, my chest heaving as I tried to hang on.
I could hear him talking to someone on the phone, but everything was spinning before my very eyes, and I could barely register anything.
I soon saw black, my mind remaining only barely awake.
I could feel when the car came to a stop, and my eyes opened as I turned around. I expected home, Damien's place, Damien's penthouse that I have been to countless times. I never expected to see the same club where everything had gone downhill. Dirty Dreams.
With the ache in my head, the lack of strength, and the waves of dizziness taking over me, I started to fight back, trying to hang on to anything in the car as he tried to force me out.
He was stronger, and he pulled me out before forcing me through the entrance. Tears were running down my cheeks from both pain and helplessness, but Ronan did not care.
He opened the door to the same room I had caught them in, then pushed me in.
I fell on the floor, my chest heaving as I looked up, the room slightly spinning. Damien was wearing a black and white robe, his hair slightly dishevelled.
The entire place reeked of things I couldn't mention, and I couldn't believe how Damien had gone from the beautiful prince charming in my eyes to this disgusting bastard.
"Feels like ages, hasn't it, Roxanne?" He leaned to my height, then slowly cupped my chin and raised my face to meet his.
"Let me go!" I said through gritted teeth, my chesg heaving.
He chuckled, but let me go.
"I will grab a drink," Ronan said, laughing heartily. "I will be in the next room."
Damien nodded before turning back to me, his smile small. "I missed you, sweetheart."
"Why? Three girls were not enough?"
"Unfortunately," he said, turning to the two women sitting on the edge of the bed. "That's why I was wondering if it would be enough with you in the mix."
I met his eyes, mine widening as my face immediately drained of colour.
"What?"
He laughed again. "We never had that wedding night because you decided to be so f*****g stubborn. Be a good girl today, Roxanne, and maybe I will let you go unhurt. You do know I have a grudge against you for what that bastard did to me."
I could hardly believe that I had fallen for such a monster.
"You are a..."
"I don't care," he said as he leaned away, then dropped the robe. "We should begin."
