Chapter 17Dane relented when Ned said he’d go with Sean, surprising him. Sean had suspected Dane would refuse to let him go home entirely and they’d have one of their arguments, but the Decrypter must have been more disturbed by their findings than he let on. Sean left him in the panic room with his weights and promised to send Ned back to spot as soon as his home had been cleared. The ghost raised an eyebrow when he hauled his duffel with clothes—including some of Dane’s—out of his back seat and to the door. “One thing I don’t miss in the slightest is chores.” “Just check the place over.” It didn’t take Ned long. A few minutes and he was back in Sean’s garage with him, eyeing the duffel of clothes. “I’d never do another man’s laundry.” “Do you have any actual advice, Ned?” asked Sea
