Ten minutes later grams calls me back.
“I’m sorry baby, Clotho said that this is all part of what has to happen, and you need to power through.”
“You have got to be f*****g shitting me.”
“I wish I was, sweet girl. But I’m not.”
“I have to go, grams. I’m meeting with a client in ten.”
“I love you sweetheart. Let what happens happen. William struggles with the power of his demonic side and can’t always keep it under control. Don’t blame him for what he can’t control.”
“I’ve got you, grams. I’ll do my best. Love you.”
“Bye, sweetheart. Good luck.”
I wipe away a tear.
“Bye, grams.”
