I sigh heavily while sitting next to Antonio’s bed. He is pale and unconscious, and my heart breaks to see him like this. I have been in comatose myself and I have no idea how to explain it. He is here in front of me but he is lost in another world. I hope his fight with death will get over and he comes home happily with me. The nurse arrives to check his vitals and change his drip. There was no moment of exchanging any words between us and it haunts me.  “Will he be fine?” I asked the nurse. “We are trying our best.” She smiles and leaves the room after her job is done. I hold Antonio’s hand and kiss them gently, “when you will wake up, I promise that I will take care of you like no one has ever done. I will bake you your favorite cookies and we will eat them while gazing at stars. I
