“Sure,” Emily said, moving away from CJ.
“In private,” Rose glanced at Tucker and CJ.
“Yeah, I’ll take CJ to the pack house, bring Emily there later when you two are done talking. Best to keep her away from Roxy until she cools down.” Tucker said, motioning for CJ to follow him, Emily watched them both walk away.
“So um, what did you want to talk about?” Emily asked as she turned to look at the other woman.
“I wanted to apologize, I had no idea that Vincent was bringing someone home.” She paused as her eyes met Emily’s as she struggled to get out the next words, “I’m happy he’s found his mate.”
