Chapter Seven The blonde one led Lucy downstairs and showed her into a sitting room. Four girls were seated around the room, all dressed as Lucy, with their skirts hitched up at the back. They looked up as she entered, and one of them smiled, but none of them said anything. Lucy smiled back and sat down. There was a magazine on the table nearby and she picked it up, idly leafing through the pages. Outside the sun was starting to set, over a large garden, with a smooth lawn and handsome trees and shrubs. After about ten minutes the door opened and Mrs. Matlock showed in another girl.
