I felt nothing. I felt absolutely nothing. Not anymore. Was this what it felt like, when your body went into shock?
Everything around me seemed to happen in a blur, or slow motion. I wasn’t even sure yet. One second, C.J. was still screaming at me, and the next second, a flash of white light took him away from me, along with my cousin Milo, who flashed him to Goddess knows where. And by the feeling of it, once CJ was flashed away from me, he had taken my heart with him.
