Blindfolded Marriage

Isabella POV Tonight I have dinner with my family in our house. It is Christmas time and we like to gather the whole family together. My boyfriend William Harris is joining me tonight. We have been together for six amazing months. He is my prince charming. He has dirty blonde hair and blue eyes. His straight nose comes from his father's family. His plump lips are my favorite part of his body. I love to make out with him. We talked about our future before and want our family to know how much we like each other. Because both of us are famous, it makes everything harder. Our family is very rich but we are not the biggest in the south part of the country. My family is in second place and William is in tenth place. So when we started dating our family knew first the next morning from the front page of tabloids. My mom and dad were not happy about it, I can tell you. But I told them to cut it off. This is my life and I want to be with him. Money does not count for me. I don't even care if he had no money at all. We met when I came back home from Europe, after spending my first two years of college abroad. We met when I signed up for summer school for some extra credit. He did that as well and it was the best summer of my life. We spend as much time together as possible. In September I started my third year here and he started his last. I will be a Designer and William will be an Architect. The perfect match for sure. When I first laid my eyes on him I knew that he would be mine. He was a little shy but I don't complain about this. "I am so happy that you are here tonight with me. You know my father, he always tells us that family dinners are very important.-I say while I sit on his lap and snuggle close to his body. "You know I am always there for you, Bella. I have a surprise for you and I hope you will love it.-William says and kisses my lips. "I am sure I will love it. You never disappoint me, Will. I have a surprise for you that you can open after dinner.-I whisper into his ear honestly because that is the truth. I am sure he will love it. "How about we kiss until we need to go? We don't have time for a steamy moment in my bed but we will after dinner.-I wink at him and he doesn't hesitate for a second before his lips crash to mine. We are already dressed so we don't want to ruin our clothes too. His lips are my home and I feel safe between his arms. His tongue asks permission to enter my mouth and I let him in. My finger is running through his already messy hair and I make it messier. So no one will be suspicious of what we did here. His fingers dig in the skin on my waist where he holds me. Our kiss becomes full of lust and I want more. I want to feel him inside me, but I can't because of my family. I am sure he wants me to because I feel something is becoming hard under me. After a while, the clock signs that it is already 6 pm and dinner time. We pull away from each other. I am wiping my lipstick which smears on his face. Put on another layer of lipstick while checking myself in my make-up mirror. I put some waves in my dark brown hair for tonight. My dark blue eyes look back at me from the mirror. I love to do this. I wear a very expensive strapless, red cocktail dress that reaches a little over my knee and frills the hem of the dress. Deep v-cut in the front and the back also. "Ready, Bella?-William asks me while holding out his hand so we can walk hand in hand out of my room. "Sure I was born ready. Let's eat and after we have our time together.-I say to him and peck his lips so I don't leave another stain on his face. We interlace our fingers and walk down the staircase and end of the corridor while we reach the dining room. My mom, dad, and my sister are already there and sit in their usual seats. Me and William bow to them to greet them. William pulls out the chair for me and after I sit, he pushes me in. He sits near me and I am glad for it. I grab his hand under the table to make me relax. "Good evening family. I am happy that we can gather together tonight. I know we are all busy but I like to spend the holidays with my family.-My dad Henry starts his speech with what we all know very well. He rise his glass and we follow him. Soon the servants come into the room with their hands full with our dinner. We eat the whole time silently. It feels awkward like something is up, but I know this is just our usual behavior when we gather together. I know that in the tabloids we are a happy and loving family but behind closed doors, just everyone lives their own life. My dad Henry is always busy with his business. Come home late or skip a night and who knows where he will sleep. My mom likes to drink because it is easier to treat the pain in her heart. She is not a happy housewife like in the magazines. No, she has problems like every normal person. A couple of times when she was so drunk and deep in her sorrow. She told me that my father probably cheated on her and did not stay away because of business but because he has a mistress. She just can't leave him because after she won't get anything so she just endures. My sister is Sasha. She is five years older than me. She married once but is already divorced. Father was not happy about it. He blames her because she doesn't tolerate her husband's gambling addiction and his alcoholism. He was a very famous family middle son. They have so much money and I know that my sister loved him. But because he didn't change even though she wanted to help him, she left him with the divorce papers. After that, she never trusts men, just uses them for their money and some horizontal activities. My father Henry. Yes, I am sure he cheats on my mom but not stay long with one mistress. He usually leaves them before they get too attached to him. I know this because once I hired a private investigator and he found out about him. But not so long because my father found out that someone is following him and treating him with his career if he keeps continuing his investigation. I enjoy my chicken with rice and some veggies. They always pour wine for us but we never drink it, just the water beside it. We finish our food and I am ready to leave but suddenly William clears his throat and pulls my hand to stay. "Mr. and Mrs. Taylor and Sasha. I want to say something if I may?-William speaks up and it surprises me. "Go ahead, William. We have a lot of time.-My father answers him and tries to play nice. William stands up and holds my hand. "Isabelle I know we are not together for so long but I feel you're the right person for me for the rest of my life. I love you so much and I know we meant to be together. Will you make me the happiest man alive to marry me?-He says and descends on one knee in front of me. In his hand is a velvet box and when he opens he takes my breath away. In the box is an engagement ring, not just a simple one but it's my dream ring. In the middle of a heart shape blue diamond, and around a lot of small round shape diamonds. I feel tears start to gather in the corner of my eyes. I love him so much and I know he feels the same too. I hold back myself to throw myself at him.
