Rescuing them was a good thing but she didn't expect them to be so ungrateful. The SS ( supernatural society) will make sure they are provided for and are protected.
She knows they are victims of whatever they were put through but she never expected that they were so entitled and so greedy. She does feel sorry for the kids who were the results of the trauma they had suffered. Coral said that she has no problem taking in the younger ones but the adults are so troublesome. They didn't want anything to do with their kids and expect them to provide for them without the children by their sides.
