Raven’s POV
I woke up and I see that I am in the pack hospital again. I am hurting, and it is so much worse than if they were just having s*x. I feel like a truck hit me, and Emerald is in a great deal of pain too. I have no idea what happened, one minute we were having a good time at dinner, even with Carter and Joshua there. The next minute I can tell that Justin and Reagan were having s*x. I was bearing an incredible amount of pain, trying not to show how awful I was feeling at the moment. I was praying for them to just be done soon so no one would know that my true mate never wanted me. The fact that I wasn't enough for him still humiliates me. No one wanted me, and it makes me sad.
